Behind Little world of Yoga

Achuthan (Achu) started practising yoga as a teenager. For him yoga is about transformation.
His spiritual journey started at his childhood and as a teenager he started to practise asanas. Starting with Shivananda Hatha yoga style, he later transitioned into more dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa and also Restorvative yoga styles.
His father was a well known vedic astrologer. Achu used to be a Hindu priest. Coming from a spiritual family, he was fascinated by the idea of becoming a hindu priest & servicing and helping others. After his father passed away he went to the Tantra Vidyapedoom ( Tantric school ) to study rituals and worships. The complete spiritual life in vidyapeedom made his path clear. He started to find answers for his questions. There he realized his path, his Swadharma.
Yoga taught him not to be hard on himself, to get better understanding about the life situations, and that in order to find answers; the journey needs to be an inward journey. He believes, through yoga we learn that we always have a choice as to how we react to things that happens in our life.

Darshini Prajapati practices yoga and is dedicated to give yoga as a therapy to people. She has been inclined towards and involved in spirituality since childhood. She has done Master's(M.A.) in Yogic Sciences and Naturopathy from Orissa and 200hr TTC in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga from Mysore. She teaches Hatha, Vinayasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga styles, Therapeutic yoga and various meditation techniques. As a certified Acupressure/ Reflexology practitioner, she uses that knowledge in her classes too.
Darshini envisions to spread a basic insight on how Yoga can enhance practical lifestyle of people, and also rise personally in different levels in philosophy of the same.
Classes
We believe the yoga practice is different for each person, so the teaching method should be also different. Our asana classes are inspired by different teachers and different styles.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures, meaning your Ashtanga, vinyasa, Iyengar and Power Yoga classes are all Hatha Yoga. The Sanskrit word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Ashtanga yoga, sometimes referred to as Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, is a style of yoga that was developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and T. Krishnamacharya in the 20th century. They claimed it originated from a system of Hatha yoga described in the ancient text, the "Yoga Korunta." Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic, flowing style that connects the movement of the body with the breath. The method stresses the importance of daily practice of a set series of movements.

Vinyasa Yoga
Like hatha, vinyasa yoga is a general term that describes many different styles of yoga. It essentially means movement synchronized with breath and is a vigorous style based on a rapid flow through sun salutations. You may also see a vinyasa class referred to as a flow class, which refers to the continuous flow from one yoga posture to the next.

Meditation
Meditation isn’t about becoming a different person, a new person, or even a better person. It’s about training in awareness and getting a healthy sense of perspective. You’re not trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings. You’re learning to observe them without judgment. And eventually, you may start to better understand them as well.
