A retreat to brush up on your skills, get back on the mat and elevate your practice.
Have you completed Yoga Teacher Training, and would you like to refresh your practice? Or you may crave a deeply immersive in-person experience with a like-minded yoga community? Then this program is perfect for you.
Led by Indian yoga teachers Achuthan & Darshini, this retreat blends yoga, meditation, deep relaxation, and self-care rituals in a breathtaking Sicilian setting. You’ll be part of a supportive, like-minded community, where you can nurture your body, mind, and soul—without distractions.
Are you ready to put yourself first?
You became a yoga teacher because something in you shifted. You felt the call to share.
But somewhere along the way… maybe you stopped teaching. Or you started doubting yourself. Maybe your personal practice feels dull, or you’re wondering if you’re even “qualified” enough to guide others.
This retreat was created for you.
This is not teacher training, but a Continuing Education Program.
It’s a space to reconnect with your love for yoga, rebuild your confidence, and remember the teacher you were born to be — not through textbooks, but through real, embodied experience.
Yoga Alliance Requierment for Yoga Teachers
In order to continue learning and growing as a teacher, all Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®s) must complete 30 hours of Continuing Education every three years.

You’ll spend 8 nourishing days immersed in nature, sharing space with fellow yoga teachers, and guided through daily yoga, meditation, workshops and conversations that help you:
Reignite your personal practice and feel genuinely inspired again
Share yoga with authenticity — without needing to “prove” anything
Gain clarity on how to offer your gifts with confidence
Connect with a community of like-minded teachers on the same path
Learn tools to manage burnout, imposter syndrome, or creative blocks
Leave with a renewed sense of direction, joy, and purpose in your teaching
This isn’t about learning more techniques or cramming in information.
It’s about returning to the heart of your practice — and your path.
November is a month of transition in Sicily. It is still one of the warmest places in Europe. In the last years it was nicely warm, around 20-22 Celsius in daytime and fresher 15- 18 Celsius in the evening and early morning.
Nestled in the heart of the Madonie natural park of Sicily, our retreat takes place in a wonderfully restored 17th-century “Masseria”.
The Madonie region is one of the wildest areas in Sicily, rich in forests, valleys, mountain gorges, and medieval villages.
The retreat has a beautiful terrace overlooking the valley and mountains beyond and a large infinity pool set among the palms and olive trees. It also has an authentic 18th-century labyrinth garden and plenty of hidden spots perfect for solitude and reflection. Set in 25 hectares of private land, you can wander along many peaceful paths in a centuries-old oak forest and along the riverbank in the valley.
Your daily yoga sessions take place in a renovated chapel. The amazing combination of teachers, Achuthan & Darshini, will provide you with a special place to explore, learn and grow. Alternating between who is teaching the class, their attention to detail, unique styles, and playful teaching will allow you to fully be present & mindful throughout your retreat and potentially take your yoga practice to new heights.
Breathe the mountain air as we review the essential aspects of kapalabhati, nadi shodhana, ujjayi, brahmari.
Finish your day with guided meditations, yoga nidra, and mantra chanting.
Hands-on Adjustments workshop to deepen your yoga poses. You will find how capable your body is.
Backbends and Arm Balancing poses workshops.
Reflexology- Acupressure Workshop
Learn acupressure practice with Darshini for self-practice and to help others.
Discover the essence of the Sicilian “dolce fa niente” and read, swim, or do nothing around the pool, under the shade of an umbrella, or in a quiet spot under the trees.
Mid-week(Wednesday) you’ll have a free day so that you can head out and explore some of the Sicilian wonders all around us. Not included in the retreat price, but can be arranged on-site.
On the south coast of Sicily, near Agrigento, there is the Valley of the Temples, one of the main archaeological sites in the Mediterranean and the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can reach here by car in just under 2 hours.
About an hour away from the Masseria is Cefalù, with its long white beaches, its promenade, its cafes and restaurants, and its world-famous cathedral, built in the eleventh century and decorated with extraordinary Byzantine-style golden mosaics.
Experience Sicilian Street food and markets with our highly-rated chef-led market experience. Weave your way through a labyrinth of hollering vendors, vibrant seasonal colors, and the delicious aroma of fried goodies. Enjoy an intro to la Cucina Siciliana, morning coffee, tastings in the Ballarò market, traditional Sicilian tastings, and Palermitan street food, and get our Palermo chef’s tried-and-true recommendations for lunch or dinner on your own.
With its 3350 mts above sea level, Mount Etna is the largest active volcano in Europe and one of the highest in Europe. From the Masseria it is about two hours drive – then we can arrange for you to trek up to the summit and to the volcanic vents or you can take the cable car.
Brunch
Our mid-morning brunch you will always find a large choice of coffee, tea, herbal tea, fresh juices, homemade yoghurt, organic honey, jams, different kinds of cereals, cheeses, eggs, but also pasta, rice, traditional Sicilian recipes, like Parmigiana and Caponata, and of course, soups, cooked vegetables, and salads of all kinds, based on organic vegetables from local producers or grown directly in the Masseria, plus fruit and dessert of different kinds.

Dinners in our retreat center will usually be characterized by the use of predominantly savory dishes like different sorts of homemade vegetable pies, basmati rice flans, seasonal soups, skillfully alternated with healthy Mediterranean-inspired pizzas, based on local ingredients like fresh tomatoes, basil, and capers. Naturally, you will also find plenty of local cheeses, fresh fruit, homemade cakes, juices, and a large choice of herbal teas for the night.

Meet Achuthan (Achu), a seasoned yoga practitioner and spiritual guide on a journey of transformation. His spiritual journey started in his childhood and as a teenager, he started to practice asanas. Starting with Shivananda’s Hatha yoga style, he later transitioned into more dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa and Restorative yoga styles. His father was a well-known Vedic astrologer. Achu used to be a Hindu priest. Coming from a spiritual family, he was fascinated by the idea of becoming a Hindu priest & servicing and helping others. After his father passed away he went to the Tantra Vidyapedoom ( Tantric school ) to study rituals and worship. The complete spiritual life in Vidyapeedom made his path clear. He started to find answers to his questions. There he realized his path, his Swadharma. Yoga taught him not to be hard on himself, to get a better understanding of life situations, and that in order to find answers; the journey needs to be an inward journey. He believes, through yoga, we learn that we always have a choice as to how we react to things that happen in our life. Join Achu on a transformative journey of self-discovery through yoga.
